Rochelle & Aaron

Rochelle and Aaron’s wedding was a pure reflection of their personalities - thoughtful, playful, and genuine. Each detail was carefully planned to be sentimental from their personalized vows to the hand-made paper bouquets. Any nervousness was washed away as soon as they met on the balcony for their First Look. After they had this special time together, the feeling of calm and lightheartedness was almost palpable. At the reception, their closest friends and family gave some of the sweetest toasts we’ve heard, the most memorable being the Matron of Honor who delivered each line of her speech using lyrics from one of Rochelle’s favorite singers. We have no doubt that Rochelle and Aaron were meant for each other, and we hope they have many more fairy-tale days like this!

About the Couple

How did you two meet? How long have you been together?

Aaron and I first met when we both went to Southeast Raleigh Magnet High together. We didn't date, but occasionally our social groups overlapped. We reconnected after college when Aaron's best friend Glenn and one of my friends took a big group out for drinks to Fox's (in downtown Raleigh) and we started talking and hit it off! We've been together for about three years. Our first date we watched Game of Thrones and ordered in pizza.

What was your most favorite moment from your wedding day?

Our favorite moments were our vows we wrote ourselves and our first look!

Tell us something fun about yourselves:

We are both huge NC State Wolfpack fans, and have basketball season tickets for the team. We have three cats named Rickon, Sansa, and Arya (from Game of Thrones). We love our amazing photographers Shaun and Danielle!!!!!
